Caster Semenya’s Appeal to Switzerland’s Federal Supreme Court from her unsuccessful case at CAS was rejected last week.  The case has attracted international coverage for various reasons and from a plethora of agencies throughout the globe.  Athletes, governing bodies, human rights agencies, medical experts, coaches, fans and women’s groups have all been involved in some capacity  in the world champion’s fight for justice and fairness for herself and others in situations like hers.  This article written by Yasin Patel of Church Court Chambers and SLAM takes a deeper look into Semenya’s case, the question of sex and sexuality and the arguments at CAS.
