Llewellyn Culver-Evans’ client acquitted of drug supply charges.

Llewellyn Culver-Evans represented Mr K, charged with possession of Cocaine with intent to supply it to another, as well as a similar charge in relation to Cannabis. He was tried before Plymouth Crown Court.

The Defendant had been arrested at this home following a police search, during which a carrier bag was found which contained cocaine, weighing scales, Mr Ks bedroom door key and a key to a car parked outside. In this car was found two blocks of cannabis resin. Mr Ks fingerprints were found on the carrier bag containing the cocaine.

The jury were told of Mr Ks previous convictions for supplying cocaine. 

Following Llewellyn’s closing speech, it took the jury little over half an hour to unanimously acquit Mr K of both charges.
