After a complex and high-profile Crown Court trial, Yasin Patel has secured the acquittal of a man accused of human trafficking and prostitution, with the defendant cleared of all charges.

The defendant had been extradited from France to face allegations of trafficking women from Brazil and coercing them into prostitution. The prosecution alleged control through violence, intimidation, and severe restrictions on freedom.

Following months in custody awaiting trial, the defendant was cleared of all charges and has now returned home to reunite with his wife and 10-month-old child – whom he had not seen since birth.

Yasin was instructed by Shahid Khan and Abraar Ayaaz, Partners at Advice Wise Solicitors.
