Alban completed his Bar Professional Training Course at BPP Law School, London and was Called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Inner Temple in 2013. From 2013 to 2016 Alban worked in a bank, pursued general legal experience and completed his Masters (LL.M.) in Professional Legal Practice.

Alban was previously at common law set of chambers between 2016 and 2020 and since then, he resumed his practice as a sole practitioner barrister, under his own name. Alban manages his regulatory and professional discipline practice, while clerks in chambers handle his criminal practice, which includes instructions as a grade 3 CPS prosecutor. Alban has a real passion for sport and he works with the Football Association and Kent Cricket League where he sits as a Chair panel member on multiple bodies hearing various cases of misconduct by players, match officials and clubs. Alban has experience in regulatory matters before fitness to practice panels such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council and now the General Pharmaceutical Council. Alban has now extended his regulatory experience by defending registrants for the Royal College of Nursing.

Alban received scholarships and completed the South Eastern Circuit Advanced International Advocacy Course (Keble) in 2024 as well as the South Eastern Circuit Florida Criminal Law Advocacy Course (2025), which was held at the University of Florida, Gainesville.
