Benjamin Aina KC and Maria Karaiskos KC represent the South East Circuit at the University of Florida

Benjamin Aina KC and Maria Karaiskos KC are this week representing the South East Circuit at the University of Florida, training 80 American law students on the art of advocacy.

The annual event has been running for over 30 years, and provides an opportunity for all participants to become involved in a fascinating teaching programme laid on for the benefit of the Florida Bar and four British junior criminal practitioners who will be joining Benjamin and Maria from the UK.

Delegates will be assessed using the internationally recognised Hampel method of advocacy training both in large lectures, smaller groups and with video playback equipment.

It promises to be a busy and very exciting week ahead for all of those lucky enough to be attending!
