Church Court Chambers attends civil fraud seminar for leading lawyers, in Qatar

Last week, Mizan Abdulrouf of Five Pillars Law, who is also a member of Church Court Chambers, organised a seminar at the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre on civil fraud.

Both Mizan and Lewis Power KC were key participants in this seminar, discussing topics including the use and application of Unexplained Wealth Orders and Worldwide Freezing Orders in the context of civil and criminal fraud, and international law.

Mizan was integral to the organisation of the event itself, which was hosted by LexisNexis Middle East and Five Pillars law firm.

The seminar was moderated by Umar Azmeh, Registrar of QICDRC, and Lewis was joined on the panel by Dr Muna Al Marzouqi, Judge at QICDRC, Dr Reem Al Ansari, CEO & Founder of Dr. Reem Al-Ansari Law Firm, and James Pickering KC of Enterprise Chambers.
