Colin Witcher secures unanimous acquittal of renowned surgeon

Colin Witcher of Chambers’ Crime and Regulatory team was instructed on behalf of a renowned surgeon, who stood trial over serious sexual allegations which he strenuously denied. 

The defendant’s life had been put on hold for more than two years. He had been advised by two firms to plead guilty, notwithstanding his insistence that he was innocent.

Thankfully, upon recommendation, he privately instructed Claire Anderson, Partner at ABV Solicitors, and Church Court Chambers’ Colin Witcher and was unanimously acquitted by jury of all charges that he faced.
