Genevieve Moss secures acquittal leading in a firearms case at Kingston Crown Court

Genevieve Moss, leading Nicola Thompson, has secured the acquittal of a defendant charged with possession of a firearm after an eight-week trial at Kingston Crown Court.

Genevieve obtained acquittals in his first trial of possession of the same firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of compatible ammunition. He was tried a second time after the jury was unable to reach a verdict on the count of simple possession of the firearm.

The defendant was tried alongside three men charged with attempted murder following a shooting in South London in February last year.
