Lesley Manley successful in attempted murder trial at Manchester Crown Court

Lesley Manley has secured a successful outcome for her client in an attempted murder trial at Manchester Crown Court.

The prosecution alleged that the defendant tracked down his former partner and stabbed her in the street multiple times, with the intent to kill.

However, following submissions the jury found the intent to kill was not made out and therefore found the defendant not guilty of that offence, who was instead convicted of Section 18.
