Michael Polak speaks at the IBA Annual Conference on SLAPPs and whistleblowing

Michael Polak has spoken at the International Bar Association Annual Conference in Mexico City on the panel: ‘Social justice demands that it’s time to give SLAPP a slap in the face!’.

Michael addressed his experience in working on whistleblowing cases and the legal provision in this area. He concluded that the way to address SLAPPs is through strong legislative provisions rather than requiring lawyers to act as gatekeepers.
