Yasin Patel Instructed by Ex-England International before ECB Racism Enquiry

Yasin Patel has been instructed to advise and represent a leading ex-International England cricketer in the on-going racist and discriminatory inquiry by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

Following the revelations and allegations last year of racism and discrimination suffered by players and personnel throughout the English game, the ECB has been investigating the complaints and accounts given by those that have suffered from racism directly and indirectly.

Personnel including Test International players, coaches, committee members, Chairmen, County Boards, commentators and staff at Counties have been involved in the process.  It is anticipated that the process and disciplinary hearings will be on-going for some time.

Yasin Patel is a barrister and Arbitrator at Church Court Chambers and a Director of SLAM who deals with all aspects of Sports Law including Anti-Doping, Commercial Rights, Anti-Corruption, Contracts  and Equality Issues and represents some of the leading International athletes, clubs and organisations.
